Merry Christmas

It was such a wonderful Christmas. We stared out Christmas Eve by attending the 4pm Children's Mass, just before mass they do a short Nativity play with the children, Emily really enjoys watching the play. Then after mass we went to my niece's house for our usual family get together. There we enjoyed delicious food like posole, tamales, beans and lots of goodies.

Our family tradition is to have the kids dress up as Joseph, Mary, Shepards, angels, etc. and sing and place the Baby Jesus in the manger under the tree. This year Matthew got to be Joseph and Emily wanted to be an angel (she was Mary last year.)

On Christmas morning Santa brought some really fun things for the kids. They were so excited. And as in years past when we left cookies and milk for Santa, in the morning they were gone!

Here are a few picture of the kids opening some of the things Daddy and Mommy got them. As you can see they were really excited about their battery powered Jeep, the down side is that it has been so bitter cold they have not had a chance to go outside and take it for a spin the the cul-de-sac. They got some dress up bins and just lots of games, puzzles, books and other toys they love.

We pray that you all had as blessed Holiday that we have had.
Merry Christmas!
