Fall Fun!!

The fall fun began with a trip to the pumpkin patch wher we enjoyed all the fun activities that they have. Em and Math both love picking the pumpkins and the slide. It was also the first time that they have tried a funnel cake. Yummy!!




Then came Halloween. On halloween morning we carved the jack-o-lanterns. Emily just loves to take the seeds out and get her hands all slimmy. I carved the bat, Emily drew the face she wanted on her pumpkin (the one in the middle) and Ryan was inspired by the Joker from "the dark night" movie we had just seen, so he carved the "Joker" pumpkin. Matthew just wanted to draw his face on his little pumpkin he picked that has been on his dresser since the pumpkin patch. He drew a scary face with long teeth.




Then we went to the first annual "Halloween Happening" at Emily's school, it was so much fun and the kids got plenty of candy and prizes. Ryan"s last minute costume was "killer Cubs fan", Emily was a cat, Matthew was Wolverine and my last minute costume was a witch.
