Mardi Gras!

To celebrate Mardi Gras we have our traditional outing for dinner to Pappadaux's Restaurant for their Louisiana specialities, Craw fish bisque, craw fish etouffee, and fried craw fish with dirty rice. YUMMY!! It has been a family tradition since we were dating and now the kids don't let us forget it. But this year we were also celebrating Ryan's promotion to Director of Employee and Labor Relations at UNMH. Yeah!!
At the restaurant they have clowns that do face painting and balloon character making. As you can see the kids had a blast as usual and Mom and Dad are stuffed...Fat Tuesday style. Emily also had a day at school filled with celebration that included making masks (Math and I helped in the morning) Kings cake, cupcakes in the afternoon and they all got beads.
