We started out the day by packing up the van for our trip to Las Cruces. We first headed over to my sister's neighborhood for the annual 4th of July Parade. The fire truck was late it was at a call so, we were not able to get a ride this year. Em and Math just got to walk through and sit on the drivers seat. After a long walk, a snowcone and some cookies we played a few games and then it was time to leave for the drive to Las Cruces.
We arrived in Las Cruces at Ryan's sisters house. Where they had planned a fun filled afternoon and a night full of fireworks. Grampy arrived with his ice cream maker and all the kids were eager to help churn. They all wanted to eat it too.
After the rain clouds passed it was time to go swimming. Everyone had such a fun time in the pools, going down slides and smashing water balloons on each other.
The next day we went to the Market downtown and then over to Grampy's house to see all the remodeling he had done to his house. It was beautiful, so different, we all really liked all the changes. As we were outside the kids wanted to climb the big tree in the front yard.
On Sunday morning we went to Ryan's sister's house for a wonderfully delicious breakfast to celebrate Cristen's presentation and anionting (she was baptised in the hospital when she was born prematurely) As her godparent we really wanted to be a part of this special day since we were unable to be at her baptism. And as we left Caitlyn and Emily hugged goodbye. Too cute. We all had such a wonderful time in Las Cruces.

Jenn! I'm so glad you posted these! We all enjoyed seeing your pictures of the weekend. I know you and Ryan decided to keep your blog private so I tried not to post pictures on my blog that showed too much of your kids. But aren't they all so cute together?! I especially LOVE that last one of Em and Cait hugging. SO sweet! We all had such a great time with you.
P.S. I noticed you didn't post the "shy naked boy" pic! :)
That one is definitely a keeper for the baby album though!
